Hi Red,

It does sound very interesting! Thank you for sharing what you learned from it with us. It is great to hear how exposure therapy has helped improve your life and allow you to enjoy more things. Keep working hard and moving one step at a time.

How will you continue to use exposure therapy? What new things have you been able to enjoy since using exposure therapy?

Oh! I forgot to mention the discovery health channel was calling the program Psych week.  They may be showing it over or it may be a series I don't know.  You'll have to check your local listing if you are interested in watching this program.

Its was very interesting and scary at the same time.  It covered  ocd, anxiety, panic and rage. I could relate to the woman with anxiety and panic.  It does seem more real when you see it on film.  They were using exposure therapy as treatment and it was stated that it has a 80 or 90% success rate as a stand alone treatment better than any other treatment or combination of treatments. They said it is not a cure but a way of managing the anxiety and panic and leading a normal life. I did have some panic while sleeping last night that may be due to watching this program.  I think this is because it really does bring it home, makes it more real. The good thing is that all of the people with panic were getting well and had made great improvements in their lives with exposure therapy.  Exposure has definitely improved my life and make it possible for me to enjoy more things in my life.  I am encouraged to keep working the program and moving forward one step at a time.

Did you watch it? Is there anything that you took from it that you would like to share with us?

I just wanted to let everyone know that on the "discovery health channel" they are having a program called "Anxious"  they will be discussing anxiety and panic.  It airs a 8 pm in the usa where I live.  You may be able to see it where you live.  If you are interesting in seeing this program check the listing in your area.
