Great work AmethystGypsy! Keep going because life will continue to get better and better. Regarding the laughing about you not drinking......I've had an experience like that after I quit when someone tried to back me into a corner by making a bit of a scene when I declined the offer of a drink. Needless to say, they won't do it again. I let them have it, after a few pleasant refusals of course. Good for you for sticking to your guns! Excellent job. Totally impressed. It will get easier.
Just checking in. Have completed one month sober. Made it through 2 birthday parties and a Rememberance day at the Local legion where everyone was handed hot rum at the door. I got laughed at for not drinking it. WINNNNNNNNING! lol
