New here on my quitting day

Hi Silmulita,
How did your first day being smoke free go for you today? You had a 3 year quit going, which was great, but I'm curious as is Ashley, as to what happened to make you start smoking again? If it's personal that's okay, we don't really need to know. Whatever the reason was, are you prepared to battle it head on this time and be a winner this time? "I have a good feeling, just like the other time I managed to quit" Confidence in yourself helps and goes a long way to help you be stronger than the urge and stay in control of your life. "but I forgot how difficult it is" Only at the start of your quit.  As you know, it does get easier as the days turn into weeks, and the weeks turn into months. You know the old saying, no pain no gain.  You've did this before so hopefully you will be able to do it again, and like you said, MAKE THIS THE LAST TIME!
Stay strong and watch out for those triggers.

Welcome!

Congrats on getting started. You have come to the right place. Please post here as often as you need to. This first few weeks will be tough; but, we are here to support you through it.

That is amazing you already have had a successful quit for three years. What did you learn from that quit? What worked for you? How did you do it?

Hi everyone,

Today is my quitting day and something tells me this website is really going to help. I started smoking at 15, quit at 29 and stayed smoke free for 3 years. Slowly coming back and now, at 44, quitting again.

I have a good feeling, just like the other time I managed to quit, but I forgot how difficult it is. Hopefully it is for the last time!

Thanks for being there
