Hi! As another stop-n-start-n-stop again quitter, I'm here to tell you that you can do it! Each time you quit, you learn more about yourself and the addiction. Your attitude is positive and you definitely want it bad enough. You do have to want to quit more than you want to smoke. Simple. NOT easy, simple. Distract yourself, post, and read here. You go, girl! DeniseK

Hey Ms Murphy!!!

Yes!  You do have to keep reminding yourself why you want to quit!  If it takes brainwashing yourself and being obsessive, so be it!  You literally have to want your quit more than you have ever wanted anything else in the world and keep telling that to yourself that!  Look, 8 pounds saved already!  In a month, that's going to be 240!  What could you do with that for the new year???

There are plenty of perks for keeping the quit and the cash is just one of them!  How about this... look in the mirror and marvel at yourself! You ARE a non-smoker now!  Feel good?  It should!  It's the best thing you can do for you!

Thanks for your messages.....

Must admit day 2 was ok but day 3 (today) has been hard............however still smokefree and keep coming on here to read other posts - need to remember why I've quit......and stay strong.....this is my problem tbh - give it a few days and I'm not so up for it (even though I totally am deep down) - so I'm kinda brainwashing myself and reminding myself the reasons why I've quit to keep focused!  I end up being slightly obssessive about the whole thing   but if that's what it takes then that's what I will do!  Hope you're all ok!  Any advice on day 3 will be greatly received  x
