Right with you there Zyla, this site is a godsend. Happy Anniversary and I'm looking forward to wishing the same to many 1/1/08 quitters this time next year :) Get ready for a bumpy ride, but like a great roller coaster, you'll be glad you strapped in! x T My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 363 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,349 Amount Saved: 1,996.50 Life Gained: Days: 30 Hrs: 6 Mins: 10 Seconds: 36

Dear everyone who is going to quit on the 1st of Jan, Please stick to this site like glue, post, post, post and read read read. It helped me thro my quit, in fact if it had not been for this site i would still be smoking 60 a day. I had been at it for over 30 years. It is not easy but it is doable, just take it a minute at a time, small goals...yes i put the weight on but you can get rid of it, you cant grow another lung tho!!! I ate tons of carotes, chewed gum, sweets and sipped ice gold water. i sucked on cinamon sticks. And used nicotine patches and an inhalator. it will be almost 3 years and it is the best gift i ever gave myself. So good luck you can do it. Hugs, Ana :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 1093 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 43,720 Amount Saved: 5,465.00 Life Gained: Days: 124 Hrs: 4 Mins: 44 Seconds: 10
