cbolts, I know it seems aweful when you slip....especially full blown. Yet..depending on what you do with it......it can be a pretty powerful positive. That is.........if you analysed it and learned all the whys and why-nots of yor mistake. I messed up many, many times. All those mess ups made this a real postitive quit. Not that I haven't had my moments. But...many things that use to be moments in past quits...weren't in this quit because I had learned what to do with them. So.... what did you learn from your last quit that will make this quit easier and especially more positive? Hey everyone, Todays the day I stop smoking! Heres the deal, I quit smoking August 8, 2005. I did not have a single puff from that day on, thanks to this site and will power. Granted I hadn't been around my smoker buddies as much since which has help. Now this summer I moved in with 2 smokers, and went on a big road trip with 3. I finally broke down after some drinks and had a drag. A few weeks went by and I had another, and another and finally I was back smoking full smokes. I was doing this at home, at work, and all the time. It's amazing how easy it is to fall back to smoking. I'm hoping this quit will be a little easier since I have only been smoking for about a month or so this go around. But judging by the craving I'm having right now it's not going to be a cake walk. I'm looking forward to trading tips and support with ppl! I just want to pop in and give a cheerful intro before the nic fits kick in and I become a grump! Good luck to all you other recent quitters.
