sugarnose Welcome back, I remember you, glad you are still on the trail to quittentown. Now you know the drill and you know what to expect. I know its not easy, but doing this now will be the most wonderful thing that you can do for yourself. Most of this thing is in the mind, and that is what makes it so difficult to conquer. Set your mind to it now, put your heart into it and remember that only you can change your behavior. nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 172 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,160 Amount Saved: $1,204.00 Life Gained: Days: 31 Hrs: 12 Mins: 10 Seconds: 19

sugarnose, Ra ra ra! Go sugarnose go! It's true - if you did it for 60 days then you CAN do it for good. Just don't have that next cigarette and repeat. I went to see my doctor on Day 9 of my quit for a non-smoking-related issue. I told him I had quit and then started to cry because I cried at everything my first month! He gave me some advice I never forgot. It is important to know that you always have the choice to smoke. When you get a craving, make a deal with yourself that you will look at a picture of a loved one or loved ones for two minutes. If at the end of that two minutes you still want to smoke - then smoke. The choice will always be yours. Odds are though...you won't want that cigarette. Also, get some rewards in mind. They don't have to be expensive or huge but they do really help. Welcome back. You can do this if this is really what you want. It will be somewhat harder, I would think, with you husband smoking. I don't know. There are those here that have quit with smoking partners and are doing very well. Keep reminding yourself "if I smoke I stink, if I smoke I robbing myself of presious time, if I smoke I will break a promise to myself, if I smoke.......... Add other reasons. I really hope you will do this for yourself and the rest of your family will reap the rewards. Have things ready for when you quit. Healthy snacks, lots of water, gum, hard candy and maybe a daily reward so at the end of the day you have special little treat. You can do this and with this site and all of the wonderful people here WE CAN DO IT :) Keep the Quit Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 45 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 450 Amount Saved: $135.00 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 3 Mins: 28 Seconds: 18

What a great birthday present, Sugarnose And what a great gift to yourself That you remained smoke free for 60 days suggests to me that you have what it takes to do it again. What worked last time? Get those things in order for this time. I guess you also have to look at what didn't work so you are ready for it this time. Of course you can do it!!!!! Welcome back and keep reading and posting!!! I look forward to helping in any way I can on your journey. -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 84 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,360 Amount Saved: $571.20 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 19 Mins: 6 Seconds: 58
