Good Luck this time! Don't worry about all of the past attempts - they are just excess baggage at this point. I tried probably 20 times before I have gotten to the point that I am at - 45 days and counting! I know I can do it this time. While in the back of my mind I know I would restart, the feeling of accomplishment - the increased vitality and general better feeling - are enough to keep me going. The cravings haven't been bad, either. I think because I set my mind to quit. I quit cold turkey and I have several hundred dollars of stop smoking stuff still left - patches, gum, locenges, sprays, inhalers, etc - and I tried Zyban three times. This last attempt has worked because I made up my mind to stop a very bad habit for me.
Good Luck and don't hesitate to write if you need an extra shoulder to lean on - we have all been there - and want nothing more than for you to succeed.
