Hey you... Its so good to see you here Sparky, i was wondering where you were :) You have nothing to be afraid of. You are NOT a failure. We all know how hard it can be. Dont give the addict in you power by convincing yourself you are a failure before you even start. Sending you a big hug. Be strong - you can do this :) PrincessC :) xx

What are you scared of Sparky? Are you scared to fail? Or are you scared to succeed? Is your fear rational or irrational? What is the worse thing that can happen if you fail? What is the worse thing that could happen if you succeed? Dissecting our self-talk can be really useful in attaining one's goals. It can weed out the self-defeating thoughts which hold us back. Feel the fear and do it anyway Sparky. In all honesty, there is nothing to fear. All there is is a lot of gratitude to be had for all the gifts we get from quitting. Stop resisting change and embrace it. Sparky, What is leading to your slips/relapses? What are you telling yourself before you light that cigarette? Once you've answered those questions, revise your quit plan and modify it accordingly. If you're having trouble answering those questions, we can help. Share your story on the forums or contact us directly through feedback/e-mail. We'll troubleshoot with you to find strategies that will work well for you. Hope this helps. We're happy your back!! Danielle ____________________________ The SSC Support Team

Well tomorrow is the beging of my new start. I must tell you I am scared to death. I know the first few day will be okay with the normal withdrawal. It is after I get into my quit that I fail. Must tell you I am sick of failing. So I go into this quit with a lot of fear. I have been telling my self "I do not want to smoke" I say this over and over. Anyway I start tomorrow and with God's grace I will make it. Everyone have a great day and I will check in later. Thanks!!!!
