Thank you Ashley for your suggestion. When I feel that I am more stable I will answer those questions.

Hi Eleveno,

Well! You have come to the right place Eleveno!  I have some tools that can help

To start first clear all past thoughts about what your purpose should be, what another person may think your purpose should be, what society says, and the notion that you have no purpose.  Start fresh.  Once there brainstorm. Normally when you get a twinge of emotion when thinking about something then likely you are on the right track.  Here are some questions to get you going:

What do you want other people or one special person to say/feel about you once you have past?
What makes you smile?
What activities make you lose track of time?
When in your life did you feel most fulfilled? (Fulfilled doesn't necessarily mean happy)
What would you regret not doing?
What are your core values?
If you had access to a billboard that millions of people would see what images and words what would you put on it?
What were some hardships you have overcome? What did you learn from them?
Who are three people you admire? What do you admire about them?

That's a lot of big questions but they may get you started. Remember you don't have to decide right now. Many people are continually working on their purpose and just using their values and passion as their compass. You will get here when the time is right.

Hi Ashley,

Big question. I haven't found yet the purpose of my life. Actually this is very difficult to me and I think is one of the aspects that is contributing for my depression.

What is your life’s purpose?

A very big question to ask but we all have some idea of what we want out of this life. So far, what do you think your life’s purpose is?

How does managing depression relate to this purpose? How will managing depression push you forward in your life's purpose?
