Improving the DC Program Content

beginning to read through the program with an eye toward answering your questions Ashley... but mostly I am finding that what I "think" a session is about... is not always accurate.  I guess it pays to read and re-read the information. Stuff sure gets distorted in my brain...

In my opinion almost all of Session Two comes too soon and has too much information.  The whole session needs to be broken down somehow.  Session Two is a good place to teach relaxation and meditation techniques instead of presenting those sections separately as an extra help.  Maybe a focus on setting daily goals... instead of the big ones.  Mood trackers are really hard to get used to and adding more and more steps is off putting... overwhelming and hard to follow.  They are valuable... but maybe could be packaged differently?   That's just off the top of my head.  I will try to review the program again and answer in more detail this weekend... if you still want more feedback.  It's hard to remember .

Hello everyone,

We are currently under taking the large project of rewriting the content of the Depression Center.  We are trying to shorten the content and make it more interactive. We are also trying to add more of a motivational tone to it by applying some coaching techniques.  We are very excited about it as we think the program as it stands can be a little overwhelming.  In order to make the program the best it can be we would love some feedback from you.  Please respond thoughtfully as soon as you have the time.  Here are some questions we have:

What are elements of the program you like/dislike and why?
Where in the program do you get stuck? Why do you think that is?
What worksheets and exercises do you find most helpful? Why?
What worksheets and exercises do you not find helpful? Why?
Are there some areas of the program or worksheets that you find to be too much? What would you cut out?
Anything else to add?

Thank you very much in advance.  Your feedback will greatly help us improve the site and thereby help more people.
