Myth or Fact?

Members,
Myth: People who claim to be depressed are weak and just need to pull themselves together. There's nothing anyone else can do to help.
Fact: Depression is not a weakness, but a serious mental health disorder. Many people suffer from depression but there are ways to treat and happily live with it. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), medication and individual or group therapy can all really help individuals suffering from depression.  Share with us what has worked for you in the past.
