I personally beleive mental illnesses have physical, social, psychological, environmental, etc...causes. I think the causes are multiple and it is important to identify where one can chnage things to feel better. To me the only thing that really matters is not so much the why as to what I can do to get better now...

Fact: Most experts agree that a genetic susceptibility, combined with other risk factors, leads to a psychiatric disorder. In other words, mental illnesses have a physical cause
