Todd, you will end up being yourself again. Take this program talk to these people.

You will start shedding it off slowly, once things start to happen to you and then at the end you can say, oh I've felt this before, no worries, nothing happened last time, I'll be OK!

Find what's causing the anxiety and bury it, do the program surround ing that anxiety.

Hope u feel better soon!

Welcome Todd.

I hope we and CBT can do for you what nothing else seems to have. It does work. Anxiety disorders come from within. External triggers only set it off. CBT is the process of changing how we react to them so that they cause something other than panic. It is amazing how something this simple can have so many different routes. Because everyone is different CBT is only a guide.

Todd,

Thank you for sharing your story with us. There are many people within this support group that share the same questions and concerns as you.  We are all a group of individuals who support each other.

If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests.  These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. This can help you better assess the situation and pinpoint areas to work on.

These tests may or may not be for you but they are "free".  If you have any question or concerns with our “TOOLS”, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net.  We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have.

Please continue to strive forward and lean on us for support.

I'm a mid 40's male with a beautiful wife of 23 years, 2 fantastic children, a wonderful job, and dark, souless, evil cloud of anxiety and panic that started affecting my life about a year ago.  Like many others I have been to the E.R. more times than I can count,  seen my family doctor umpteen thousand times,  I'm on my 2nd psychiatrist and 4th medication.  It seems I'm on a roller coaster ride where everything is fine when it's going uphill,  but when it reaches the peak, it drops into a never ending void of fear and confusion.  No one in the family understands what has happened to me, incuding me! I tend to hide my affliction from them because its so hard to explain what I'm feeling and/or dealing with.  Anyhow, I joined this group in hopes of learning more about my anxiety, talk with others that have had the same experiences, and hopefully in the end.... whoop its butt!!!!
