Long weekend

10 years ago 0 4027 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
After I left work, without the resources, time-wise and emotional, to ever return, I find that weekends aren't "long" any longer, since I don't have the work week to compare it to, or reward myself with.

I don't feel part of the larger society, which is living and working together.

Are you ready?

The first day of summer holidays can bring happy feelings and emotions! The summer smell, the increase in outdoor activities, vacations, and even relaxation time, can help positively increase your mood and get you going.

Leave those dishes and the laundry and take a walk, drive or run.  Take a you day and relax.

Why not include a loved one?  Play with the kids, your husband or friend, or just do something special for yourself.  We all deserve a little break and summertime is a great time to take it!

By preparing for a special day, you can help validate all the hard work you are doing!

What are your long weekend plans?
