Ok, Today is the day... I am very confident I will be able to make it work. Last month I managed 11 days without smoking but I wasn't very peaceful with the idea. NOW I AM, AND HAVE SET MY MIND FOR IT! I know it is not easy but I cant have that in mind. One step at time. Minute after minute. In no time I will be collecting hours, days, months with out tobacco. Yep... today is the day. :)

I want to thank every one for the support :)
For sure it is going to be much much easier than being alone in this battle.
I see on posts the amount of money people people save, very impressive. I guess where I am cigs are very cheap (US$1,25 pack with 20, cowboy brand, I don't even say brand names anymore LOL) so I wont be saving much, LOL. I don't care. What is important is being healthy when I reach 40 in 2 years.
Thanks again for the support and lets make the cigarette companies bankrupt! LOL

Being bad and mean helps with the cravings.. LOL, just joking. I feel the answer is water, if smoking comes to my mind I don't even conclude the thought, I drink cold water, and if I am at home shower.. cold too! Now every were I go I have a bottle of cold water. I don't think I will reward myself on a daily basis, now at the beginning it will be weekly.

I know! I have been drinking up to 3 liters of water a day, I believe it will as well help with the detox. I agree, water fulfills the desire of smoking but it has to be chilled and in large dose...
Another day goes without any difficulty. I just feel like a cig when I sit at the computer, I work on a computer... now with a water bottle on the table. Getting in to my third day and feeling ok and happy. I have been feeling more sleepy as usual, I know its just my body starting to get used to no tobacco and initializing some healing processes and detox. It would be bad if I couldn't sleep (insomnia) but happily it is not my case. :))))

Hello Xena :)) I am on my third day, happy... each hour we collect is motif to be proud. I am dealing with the cravings with chilled water... lots of it... every time a bad thought comes I drink water... feel the water ... doing this it drives your attention for good feelings. always have a bottle of water with you. :))

Monday will start at the gym, I believe it will help... feeling more healthy adds distance to the thought of smoking I believe. Funny, my mother came to spend the weekend with me, she smokes ...LOL. But now she is forbidden to smoke inside and after she uses the ashtrays she has to wash them... I told her "or you do it this way or you wont be coming here for the next 2 months".. LOL.. poor mom. She decided to cooperate. :))))
