Sooooo Frustrated!!! Why Now!!!

Wow Chicken I can so relate to everything you're saying!! Like Rosie it hit me a little later (around day 40) and what a monster I became - and so miserable and slobbish. There is a lot of good advice, and one thing I've learned to do in all this is go with it - meaning if I want to hide for a bit (assuming the house isn't burning down and the kids are fed and watered), I go and hide. If I don't feel like seeing anyone, I don't. I haven't even been answering the phone - well I figure if it's important they can phone my mobile and I can see who it is, and if the haven't got my mobile number, chances are all I'm missing is a double glazing opportunity!! Let me say, your rants are great Chicken - you make me smile and forget my own troubles for a min - stay strong girl - way to go!! The dreaded night out at the pub

Well, tonight was the one I was dreading most: going out to the pub for the first time and not smoking - up till now I have virtually hibernated and avoided all social situations incase I got tempted. Well I did it, and passed!! I enjoyed 2 pints of London Pride and even commented on how nice the beer was without the smokes (I was really tasting it properly for the first time!) Well I am really chuffed, because I was really scared I would weaken, but I didn't - I never even felt tempted - hooray!! Smokers skin..

Most definitely - everyone said my skin looked better, I had more colour and they even said I looked younger (yeah!!!), and this was evident in the first few days!
