Ok, we are in the process of reclaiming our lives from the clutches of nicotine, and this as I'm sure you will recognise, is a step by step process. After the initial quit, it is a time of taking territory back.
So I'm going to use this thread to list some the things I have reclaimed, and more as they happen (feel free to post your reclamations too)...
I have reclaimed my home
I have reclaimed after meal times
I have reclaimed morning coffee
I have reclaimed barbeques (in my dreams lol)
to be continued....

Today I reclaimed the ability to do a mega house clean (for a friend's house-move) and not have cig breaks - she and her husband still smoke...well I was there all day, and managed to make do with a cup of tea instead of the oldstyle reward of a cig and drink...and managed just fine!!
Yeah - another thing reclaimed from the nico-nasty!!

I have changed since my quit: I bite, don't mess with me lol!! BUT...I am aware this is a symptom of my quit - I'm not really like that and I know it will pass.
I don't know why this happens, but it's like I get mad about EVERYTHING - thankfully my family and friends understand!!

..and just think, IF you did have that smoke, and after you have put it out, you will feel WORSE than you feel now. You will still feel the same stress over the test AND you'll feel like a failure on top of that....

'Social' smoking still kills: a 'social' smoker is in fact just a smoker like the rest of them.
