I survived day 1...now on to day 2 :)

Thank you for the welcome :) it's been a rough day for the craves...I've even been grumpy with my furkids :( oh well...it will get better. Danielle...I lost my 16 month quit by becoming too confident. Up to that point I had not let anyone smoke in my house and avoided being around people who smoked. I started going outside with hubby when he went out to smoke...then told him it was ok to smoke in the house...it was only a matter of time till I caved...and one smoke was all it took to get me back to a 2 pack a day habit. I know better this time. Working on Day 3

Good Morning....Day three is going good so far :) Hubby and I had a few mini fights yesterday but stopped when we realized that it was the not smoking that was making us so cranky. Week-end Prep!

The weekend will be difficult...I usually take my Mom shopping and do any cleaning she needs done...then I head home and relax...usually with a coffee and smokes. I will pick out a new knitting project when I am in the stores....that will help! Made it through day 3...now on to day 4 :)

This quit is going good so far. I really like using the thrive lozenges as they keep me from eating everything in sight. Hubby is doing great...we are both determined to quit for good this time. We're sick of the quit/relapse cycle. Working on Day 3

Mercy...wow...that is exactly what I am doing. I have accepted that the first week is crappy but I'm going to have to go through it if I am ever going to be successful at quitting this destructive habit/addiction. Somehow, it is easier to get through when I accept this.
