New & Starting Again

Hello! Billyfrog here. Today is my quit date. I am doing well so far. It's almost lunch time. I had a 9 month & 9 day quit going last year and started smoking again. What was I thinking? So, this isn't my first rodeo but it will be my last. I will never make a mistake like that again, ever. I have been here before a little bit, on and off. I am looking forward to getting to know you all. I want to give as well as receive support in this journey we are on.

New & Starting Again

Yeah....I knew I would get that reaction. I know, I know! A 9 MONTH QUIT GONE - POOF - JUST LIKE THAT! It was sad how easily I gave in. No drinks were involved. Just a kids birthday party and stress. No good reason to light up....but I did! NOT WORTH IT! So....don't be like me! Never give up that quit. I hope all faith isn't lost on me. I have seen members here give up on posters who go back to smoking. I am here and I am ready to embrace my quit again and NEVER let it go this time. Also, hubby is quitting with me this time. Last time, I didn't pressure him, he just wasn't ready then. I am happy that he is now and I am ready as well. We will be happy & healthy together for life!

I'm Coming Out...

I want you all to know! LOL! Well, I was here in 2006 for a long time and I re-registered when I came back because the format had changed, I forgot my previous info and I was just plum ashamed. I, however, realize how much I missed everyone and now that I am back, I want my old friends to know who I am. Drumroll....... NascarFan - that is my old username. 5/15/06 was my quit date. After almost 10 months (in Febuary 07) I lost/gave my quit up. The worst mistake I have made in a very long time. So, I am back. Heading for a month quit. My Hubby quit with me this time so it has been great. The first couple weeks is hell but once you get past that, it gets easier. I will never make that mistake again. My quit is for good. I missed you all so much. I am so glad to be back! billyfrog - nascarfan :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 480 Amount Saved: $102.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 18 Mins: 23 Seconds: 48
