I'm doing pretty well. I still need to take deep breaths now and then, but it isn't as hard as I thought it would be and I'm SO glad not to be tied down to that ball and chain anymore!!!
It's finally getting quite chilly here in Oregon. I'm hoping for an early start to ski season! I love living here. We have hot summers, cold winters and everything in between.
How are the rest of you Octos?? Any other October quitters out there who would like to join us? Strength in numbers!

The other day I was giving a ride to my daughters 10 year old friend. When she got in the car I noticed right away that she must have been in a house where someone was smoking. I felt so bad that that sweet little girl had to be in a smokey house and go around smelling like smoke.

I'm so glad you checked in! I hope your mother is well enough to go home soon. Good for you for staying strong during a stressful time.
My family made it through our thanksgiving with out any blowouts, and I'm still smoke free! I think I better stay on Chantix through the holidays though.

Sometimes I wonder about people who were doing great, posting daily, and then all of a sudden you never hear from them again. It feels kind of like losing a friend. I'm glad we haven't lost you. I'm sure sprquits is doing well too. I bet we'll hear from her soon.
