This helped me, hope it helps others

while it seems like it should be obvious that i'm not, sometimes i still feel like i'm the only one in the world who experiences these thoughts and feelings. it is so comforting to find that other people's "junkie" brains are telling them the same thing mine is! thanks. Tuesday Good News Parade!!

my good news is that i have finally (mostly) stopped taking my frustration from quitting out on my incredibly supportive boyfriend. that's good news for both of us! Just Stopped

hi david, this is my third time quitting, too. i only lasted about 8 weeks last time (i started smoking again when i stopped using patches)! this time, i only used patches for two weeks, to get over the nicotine addiction faster. i really think it is better this time around. i got over the serious withdrawal symptoms more quickly, instead of dragging them out over the course of two months. just remember that YOU WILL FEEL BETTER SOON! good luck! I should have fallen by now

i admire your strength and honesty. just like the cravings for smokes ALWAYS pass, this tough time will pass, too. smoking will not fix things or make them better.
