Lies we told ourselves as smokers

Had to smoke to relax, and anyway I could alway quit after that pack. I never bought a carton of smokes, always bought 1 or 2 packs because I honestly planned to quit everytime I finished those. Then I would go buy just 1 more pack. Can you believe I did this for years. Talk about lying to myself. WOW  Can't believe an intelligent adult could do that to themselves. I ruined 73 hard earned days

Kayla We've all been where you are now. I've also quit before but ended up caving in. We have to keep trying no matter how many times. I have one son that is schzophrenic and he is living in a center where they can handle him when he's out of control. We do bring him home once in a while for a day and my stress level goes off the charts. Keep trying, we will be there for you. Day 2 really rough!!!

Wasn't sure I was going to make it through yesterday without a smoke but since I didn't have any and didn't want to go to the store all red eyed, I made it. A few crying spells ( that is rare for me ) and a crappy don't care attitude. I got on here and read some posts but really didn't feel like writting any of my own. Feeling a little better today so far. You all are doing so great, hang in there. I'm still hanging in there too! Day 2 really rough!!!

Thanks y'all, I really needed that little pep talk. I'm on day 3 now and so far doing fine. No crying today in fact had a pretty good day. I don't like when evenings roll around, they seem the hardest for me to get through. Hangin in there and still smoke free. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Day 2- not really all here

Hang in the Nilbey !!!! Yesterday I finished my day 2 and I was not there either! I think I spent most of the day crying and feeling sorry for myself, BUT I DIDN'T GIVE IN . You can do it. These first few day are killers but I know if you hang in there it will get better. I feel much better today (day 3) than yesterday. Do some knitting it will keep you hands busy or eat sunflower seeds. We'll be here for you. :8|: My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 20 Amount Saved: $4.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 9 Mins: 33 Seconds: 12
