Day 1 is going great, thanks to all of my smoke free buddies.
My husband says I'm driving him crazy because I haven't quit cleaning since I got up this morning. He's laughing me because when I take a break from cleaning, I run for the computer. He's so supportive and happy I am quitting. He's not a smoker now but was about 25 years ago and knows what I'm going thru.

Keep up the good work Valic. You can eat anything you want today because it better than giving in to the crave. This isn't a real easy journey to take but will be worth it in the end. Stay in there, I'm right there with you. We need to get ready to go to the treehouse. Wish we all could really be there together. There would probably be a few hugs and maybe even some tears :) I feel like I know all of you already.

I have a great closet smoker story. My Son and his new wife moved to our town from another state. They stayed with us for awhile, until they could find a home. My son thought I had quit smoking years ago and I also thought he had quit.
I was taking back roads to and from work so I could get in a few smokes before getting home.
After about two weeks went by, my husband quietly ask me if my son or his wife smoked. I told him my son had quit and his new wife didn't smoke. He said that someone smoked because when he had gotten home that day he smelled it on someone.( At that time my husband knew I smoked)
That night I quietly ask my son if he or his wife smoked. He got a funny look on his face and admitted that him and his new wife both smoked. I then told him I also still smoked. He then went to his wife and told her I ask about thier smoking. Of course she was caught off guard and said " OH NO, DID SHE SMELL IT ON ME?"
He then told her we had all been hiding it from each other and all living in the same house.
The funniest part is before we all knew about each other I would sneak out and smoke one in the back yard after every one went to bed. They were also doing the same thing!!!!!
Can you imagine the look on our faces if we had met each other out there. :8o: Can't believe it did'nt happen. We still laugh about it.
They are the only two left in the family that smoke.
All the rest of the family has always been smoke free and still don't know any of us smoked.

How are you doing New Me with your moods?
I was pretty good most of the day but getting a little irritable right now. Am trying to control it. I will control it.. I think my husband is trying to stay out of my way. LOL I almost feel sorry for him.
Just made a big fruit salad so will have some of that in a while.
Don't worry I won't cave to the crave :) I'm in this for keeps..
