Hey Lou, some really interesting thoughts. Thanks for putting them out there.
I was really interested when you said that your danger times were when you were really feeling down on yourself...because for me it's the exact opposite.
When I'm feeling on top of the world, king of the mountain...a legend...that's my danger zone. Cuz then I think I can control the addiction, yeah one won't hurt because I can just stop after that...Bull!!
Interesting how everyone's quit is different. Keep at it, Lou, you're doing great.

I'm all for whatever keeps your quit, change the meter, keep it the same, it's your quit, do what motivates you the best. If singing the theme to the Sound of Music backwards while pedaling a tricycle keeps someone from having a smoke, I'm all for that, too.
I would like to see the video, though...

Hey Dexter,
How's your first day going? Remember, the first few days is when you get all the nicotine out of your body, and it can seem hard, but it does get better.

When I think of a return to smoking, I think of how I left smoking...Standing by the side of the road in a winter drizzle, dragging away at a cigarette, feeling sick to my stomach, weak, drained, wet, cold, exhausted; clutching that one last cigarette for dear life while absolutely hating myself for smoking and hating myself for wanting to give up smoking, not even wanting to let go of that last godawful piece of #$%^& while knowing how it was killing me even as I sucked on the last bit of the butt and my stomach is churning and I feel like I'm going to hurl...
Yeah. I would have to be stone crazy to go back there.
I am so glad I quit. I have no doubt about this: I will never be a smoker again.

Thanks guys, but for me you're a day early. I will forever be a day behind Changing, but the view is great!
Congrats, Changing, and thanks for being an inspiration!
