Hi tiga, welcome to this terrific site! What a wonderful choice you have made.Deep breaths, stretching and lots of water helped me in the first few days along with reading and re-reading my reasons for quitting and all the positive messages from everyone here. I also taped "N.O.P.E.(Not One Puff Ever) to my computer monitor.I love that term.
Congrats,
Trudy :)

Hi sammo, glad to hear you're gonna join the non-smoking community. One thing that I do to keep my mouth busy is chew sugarless gum, not all the time, but when I feel my mouth needs to do something. It's usually a couple few times a day that I'll just shove a whole bunch of pieces in my mouth ( I would recomend doing this at home or in private). It's fun and after awhile my mouth gets tired and I don't want to do it anymore. :p
