Hey Ally,
I hear what your saying. Prior to this quit I was such a chicken as well... I had every excuse in the world why I shouldn't quit smoking. "Not today cause I go camping in three weeks", or "Can't this week cause I might have a late night service call out of town".
Nothing but lame excuses.
It's not easy... actually its DAMN hard. I got rid of the excuses, and here I am almost two weeks into it. Find the reasons why you want to quit and keep them in your heart and mind. This site is a wonderful tool to use as well.
Be strong, be committed to quitting, and know you are not alone! :)

This is an excellent site for us, I don't know if I could be sucessful without it. I'm here quite often.
I did the Nic gum for 6 days, now without any help.
Were all pulling for ya!

Hey alexa,
Thats a choice you have to make yourself. My first quit years ago I tried to rationalize my quit by smoking cigars as well. Then I replaced the cigars with ciggs and stayed smoking till now.
Please remember why you quit smoking alexa.
My advice is to stay home this weekend... if you can't, tough it out!!
Good luck,
Ron
Did you make it through the day today??
I hope you did... Fight it... and you WILL win!

I don't think there is really an answer to that question.
Lack of Discpline or control over oneself.
The mind can do weird things.
Hey Parola,
Everyone's different. I have over two weeks in, and my mind tells me that it's withdrawl. I know it's just habit breaking from here. Hang in there, it'll get better!
