Hey Patti I'm glad you have such a good kid on your side. This should also show you that if you have ciggs on you, it's not if you smoke them but when you smoke them. Almost at the end of 4th week.

Hey Tomaz, this is the time in all my quits that i seem to lose the battle. The first few weeks I stay so over the top positive, the time just flies by with little or no problems. About week four the cravings take over. This time I prepared myself with a list I keep with me, reminding myself how bad I hate smoking and how bad I felt before I quit. My memory fades a little with time. Hang in there. Hello

Hello to everyone
I wanted to wait until I had a week under my belt before I jumped in and introduced myself. This isn't my first time here but I really want this quit. As a smoker for 26 yrs I was up to three packs a day for about the last five years or so. The problem is I could do very little without coughing and running out of breath.
My first three quit days I used the patch, then I just wanted all that nicotine out of my body so I dumped the patch.
I hope to get to know you well. Hang in there and don't smoke.

My Milage:

My Quit Date: 5/8/2008
Smoke-Free Days: 8
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 480
Amount Saved: $102.00
Life Gained:
Days: 1 Hrs: 4 Mins: 37 Seconds: 40
