A TRIBUTE TO OUR LEADER

I needed to stop in just to say how proud I am of you and the Unsmokeables. Living with Duffis and watching each and every one over his shoulder has made me very aware that February is a great month for quitting. Linda you know we have a special place in our hearts for you so celebrate and enjoy. Roxanne

STARTING WEEK 3

I never thought I'd say in public that Duffis is cool, that he is a rock solid non smoker. We were chatting last night and I was happy to tell him that this quit is going to work. When I have a question about what is happening to me he is there with an answer. Sometimes the smart a** pulls my leg but I do get an answer. He never offers anything but if I ask he is there with help. I had a few rough days during week 2 but nothing that I could not suck up and get by the moment. I am going out of the house every day to the gym and I walk, ride the tread mills use the exercise room. This really helps me maintain and keeps me from going nuts. This time I feel like I am on the happy trail to freedom and I will beat this addiction. 3days

As that dam Duffis keeps telling me "Run in circles, scream and shout, but never never smoke". Good luck to your getting off the patches and gum. :8o: Pete My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 441 Amount Saved: $49 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 22 Mins: 10 Seconds: 6

Duffism

I've wondered why the mood swings and just chalked it up to not smoking. This might help me understand my anger. ONE MONTH

Tomorrow will be the eve of one month quit. I am so proud of myself and that I am really doing it this time around. Duffis is there for me but he lets me do my thing and never bothers me unless I ask for help. I am actually enjoying this quit. Pete :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 26 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 800 Amount Saved: $91 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 11 Mins: 31 Seconds: 13

3 In The Bag Goin for 4

Tomorrow will be the end of 3 weeks for me and I'll be starting on week 4. It is a lot easier this quit as it is something that I want. The hardest thing for me now is driving my friend over to the Oncology Center for Chemo and Radiation. It ain't pretty guys. Time to move on down the road. CAUTION DUFFISM AHEAD

Is it the quit or do I really want to bite your leg off. Thanks for the insight. 3rd Time Around

Hi this is my third attempt to quit smoking. A good friend of mine called me two weeks ago and informed me that he has stage II lung cancer. I think that is what really got my attention. So here we go again. I really think I can make it this time, I'm sure going to give it my all.
