The Stop Smoking Silly Joke Distraction Thread.

Sorry had to post this.
The village simpleton walks into The Antiques Roadshow and puts a big box on the table.
"Where did you find this?" asks the expert.
"Oh, it's been in the attic for years," says the simpleton.
"Have you got insurance?" asks the expert.
"No, why do you ask?" said the simpleton.
"Because you're going to need it, that's your cold water tank.

Not good

So this is how it is!!!

Day 36 of not smoking finds me with a sore throat - feels like I've swallowed a dozen rusty razors, was so sore yesterday that I even lost my voice, much to the amusement of my family, I have a stinking cold and a splitting headache. Stupid flipping cold, I wish it would just leave me alone.

It feels like I am single-handedly  keeping the maunfacturers of ibuprofen and lemsip cold and sodding flu tablets in business. I have that much vicks vaporub smothered over me that I not only feel incredibly sticky but I can also taste it and still cant breathe through my nose.

So this is me....nice and healthy, a nice and healthy non/ex smoker. I pray to god that this is my body's way of removing all the last bits of crap out of my body....Grrrrr....ok rant over.....You can delete this post if you want to.

Sorry that this is not very positive...I will not smoke today.

Not good

Thanks Tim and Nonic....
I think it was Mark Twain that said quitting was easy lol
Just got back from walking the dog and I'm cold, so very cold today. The sun is out and the sky is blue, but I still feel so flipping cold. Have received loads of weird looks and s******s from a bunch of schoolkids. They were all dressed in their little spring jackets with their school bags slung over their shoulders, and there was me with my thick winter coat, scarf, gloves and woolie hat shivering like there's no tomorrow.
Ha ha the joke's on them though, they have to go to school and spend all day in a classroom, whereas I get to spend the whole day at home in my lovely warm house with my dog and my sniffly cold.  At least my headache and sore throat have gone today.
Yay... I've just remembered that I've got a bag of popcorn and a large bottle of cola that wasn't opened when the family came over at the weekend.

Total bliss....Lazy day for me  Now where did I put my tissues
