I am A. from Atlanta/Ga. I have been smoking for half of my life, 23 years. I smoked 2 packs a day of Marlboro red 100. I decided to quit and I will for sure. I am using CVS patches 21 mg. I am happy to be here and I am glad eventually I did what I should have done years ago. I am in good health and personally decided to do this. Today is my second day. I am on top and patch really worked, no craving at all. Plan to go to the Mall for some shopping. It feels great that I do not have to come out of the mall to smoke like a chimney.

Wow, It hit me hard but I am on top of it. I decided to do a test run on the patch and see what happens without it. I took my patch OFF to see what happens. I was OK for the first hour and starting the second hour, the craving started. I took it for about 2 hours and it became unbearable. I had a craving for a smoke I never had in my life. I was in the state of mind that I could drive out and buy some. I had a bitter taste in my mouth very nasty taste, I had horrible time. I finally stopped the test after 3 hours. I washed my mouth and got the patch. I am all right now. the craving completely gone after about 10 minutes of having the patch. I feel good again and I am very happy for being smoke free.
I was trying to do a test run to check my resistance. I will stick to the instructions and I promise I will never smoke again. I am doing these test runs for the benefits of people who want to take my path. I had a wonderful day today. I am breathing better and I enjoy life a lot more without the nasty smoke. I spent a couple of hours in the mall shopping and I enjoyed it a lot without leaving the store to smoke. This X- Mass looks like my best ever as far as I remember. Smoke Free feeling is great.
I stopped smoking two days before you using the Nicotine Patches. I purchased them from CVS which is circular and stick better to the skin and costs 12 dollars less for 14 patches.I started with 21 mg patches and I am doing great so far. YOU CAN DO IT. Keep me posted on you progress.
