OMG!!!

Welcome to the team, Wil...I quit 11 days ago...and I'm surviving! I chose to not use a nicotine replacement this time and it's working out OK. When that niggling little urge sneaks on me (and oh, it does, although less each day) I look around for a non-smoker in the area and think...'well that person can function without a smoke, guess I can too!' Then I think about people I know really well who don't smoke and well, before you know it, the urge has passed...Hey, you'll find that thing that works for YOU!.....come back and keep us posted on your progress......

Today is the Day!

Wow, Lindy - it's been about 4 1/2 hours  for you now -----hope all is still going well...soon time for bed and sleep is a good thing 'cuz when you awake you can add a bunch more hours to your accomplishment. Keep thinking positive thoughts - you KNOW you can do it. All the successful people out ther know it can be done. I'm 12 days in and feeling great about that - so I'm going to stick it out.
This is a great program and site for venting when you are frustrated, understanding what others are going through and how some it may be familiar to you, and especially for getting support. Others have done it, so why not you??? Happy successes.................
