Why did you choose your SSC name?

I started my career as a Nurse and then got pulled into computers and nursing thus my SSC name which I use almost everywhere.  Just keeping it fun.

Long Weekend

Well I made it - camping with 4 other Families PLUS there were 4 smokers in the group.  I really tried to NOT be one of those obnoxious Ex-Smokers but every day I would remind everyone how many smoke free days I had under my belt.  Thank You all.  Woo Hoo I feel much better now that I got through that.  And I really didn't "crave" a smoke like I thought I would.    Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend.  Back to work tomorrow.

1 YR

Thank you ALL for helping me pass my 1 YEAR.  Here it is 5 days PAST my Year date.  NEVER did I think I would make it this far.  I admit I don't post much but believe me I read and take all the suggestions and encouragements from the "regulars".  When I first started my quit I never closed this site - I refer Any and all current smokers here.  Those of you that keep this site going and the "regular HERO's" that post - THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU without you I truely don't think I could have stopped and stayed stopped.  Here's to starting my second year smoke free.
