I love North Carolina! However, I don't want to sit on the beach, as I don't think it's that warm yet. Can we stay at the Biltmore? I've always wanted to go....

Oh, my. I am so sorry, my dear Sparky. Condolences to you and your family. I am sending a great big hug your way, so be ready to catch it. And the sloppy wet kiss is in celebration of your 32 years sobriety and your 38 days smobriety! I am so in awe of you for all you have accomplished in your life. Be proud. Now go hug your sister-in-law. My prayers are with you.

Yes, I skated through without a bump, I am proud to say! The training is actually held on a military installation and the accomodations were smoke free (yippee). At the training center, you had to go outside to smoke and it poured down rain the entire time I was there. I felt a bit of satisfaction at watching the die-hards standing in the rain on breaks to smoke, (heavy sigh), while I stood inside drinking a cup of coffee and washing down 2 or 3 cookies. I did file complaint about the bathroom facilities. They had a full-view mirror opposite the john---so you could see your fat @$$ everytime you needed to go.... (Moderators: @$$ is a gang icon that I learned at school.)
LOL, Rock---Is there a 12 step program for us SSC addicts And I love your idea, Pupikat! I've put in a requisition for some extra handcuffs and shackles (hope they won't question that...) Do you prefer OC spray, a taser or something more sinister.....?
Nice try, Henny Penny---here's a handi-wipe---dab that glaze off of your beak!

Too funny! I also remember those days..... It's rather upsetting when your new baby gets those first few shots, but it does get easier to endure as they get older. In fact, by the time they are a teenager, you may be the one wanting to administer the shot, with a higher caliber than any skinny little needle could hold!!!
Plenty of time to prepare for that, so I won't go into any horror stories! Heehee...
Excellent job in staving off those cravings. That's an awful lot of work and emotional stress just for you to smoke! Keep up the good work, Valic!
