Smokiejoe - hope all is well.

The folks who keep trying are the ones who finally win - you'll win. You both can do it. Good decision.

How are U all doing

I'm still here and still smoke free. Doing well - no significant issues so far. A few cravings but they pass. I'll make it through the weekend for sure - I'll be here on Monday and I'll still be smoke free.

Here we go again.....

Hello and good morning everyone. Still not smoking, and still loving it.

Last evening was tough, I had the biggest crave so far so I called on my daughter for some help. She's 15 and she was right there for me. Now understand, I was home, and there are no smokes there at all, so there was no danger of me smoking, BUT, I wanted to destress a bit so she had a great suggestion...

Let's play Guitar Hero!

I tell you what, in less than 5 minutes I had completely forgotten about the crave and was a Rock Star! That game is a bit of fun. If you haven't tried it, and there's one around, I strongly suggest it.

Two things I took away from this experience. Number one and probably the most important, shout for help when you think you need it. People respond and they give you their strength. Number two - get busy. It doesn't have to be constructive, just get your mind on something else. The crave is a momentary thing. The smokes cause permanent damage.

I'm too smart to solve a temporary problem with a permanent fix!

Today will be a fun one, my boss in in from corporate. He's a smoker and it's customary for him and I to go have a smoke and talk business. I'll go but I won't smoke. I promise you all that, and I will stand by my word, so no worries. I'll let you know how it goes.

Have a great day everyone.

Bon Courage!!!!

Positive thinking.....

Hey it's me
Still smoke free
Thank you all at SSC

I hope everyone is well - I feel good. Tried to link to my quit video, I can't see it, or anyone elses so it may just be me. But take a look at mine if you can.

Scan you tube for Discovery Commercial - look for the one called I Love the World - if you haven't seen it before, let me know what you think.

THAT - Is kinda how I'm feeling today, and no, I'm not mixing my meds again

Here's hoping this positive energy gets out there to the rest of you today and you all have a great day. ENJOY.
