Yeah, the urge to smoke passed pretty quickly after the original post and didn't return.

Yet, for some reason, I had an overall moody week. Kind of had an emotional meltdown yesterday morning. It was way out of proportion to what set me off. Fortunately, I was alone in the car, and was able to just scream and cry alone. Then, I had more irrational anger and frustration in the afternoon and evening. I was able to contain myself somewhat, but I was still being a real grump with people. I really didn't like being that way, but just couldn't seem to get myself fully redirected.

Not sure what is going on right now. Could be hormones. Could be the fact that I've been exercising a lot longer and more intensely lately, and I'm just getting worn down. I know I felt better after eating a few times and sleeping some more. ...And that could be related to either cause.

Yeah, you're right, Timbo. I didn't really want to. When I thought about it some more and actually imagined taking some drags, it didn't seem that attractive.

What I really wanted was that sensation of nearly instantaneous relief from a nic fit. But I wasn't really having a nic fit. I was just having a crazy day and had temporarily depleted and/or forgotten my coping resources.

There are no quick fixes in real life, but it was nice to be able to just log on for a minute and express...
