Welcome Trish50!

It sounds like you have a great plan! Please pace yourself. Sometimes when we take on a lot of changes at once it can be overwhelming. Make quitting smoking your top priority. All the healthy changed you are planning to make will help you to feel better fast and will help your mood while quitting.

How is your quit going? How are you managing with all the other positive changes?

Hi Trish50,
I hope this will be your final quit journey. You've did it before so you pretty much know what to expect. Like you said, one day, one hour, one minute at a time. Whatever it takes. Baby steps work too.  Life sure is much better when it doesn't revolve around those nasty cigarettes.  Here's to a happy healthy and non-smoking new year!  Stay strong.

Hi all, I’m Tricia and I’ve smoked for a long time. I have quit multiple times too for a few months here and there. Today my plan for this moment, this day is to quit. I plan on doing it one day at a time, one moment at a time. I plan on using the nicotine patch, I want to start exercising, eating right, and to begin this year as a healthier happier me. I appreciate everyone being here and I’m going to plan on using this site every day. Thank you
