Leg and smoking update...

17 years ago 0 357 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Supernova, Here's another bonus that comes from not smoking- when you wake up from surgery you should not have a lot of uncomfortable hacking and coughing like smokers do! I've had surgery as a smoker and a non-smoker and I much prefer to come out of anesthia (I'm challenging my spelling skills with that one!) as a non-smoker. Wishing you a speedy recovery!! Super, We are feeling for you! This may help with those tough days as your body will be resting and trying to recover from your injury. Have those coping mechanisms close and call if you need us. Good job, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.

Supernova - Wow - you did a real number on your leg! Next time, be more careful in your Extreme Kick-boxing Ultimate Death Sky Diving activity! I assume that you'll be put to sleep for your surgery, then in a pain-killer haze, so next thing you know you'll be celebrating your 10 day smokeless anniversary! ;p Good Luck Tomorrow! There will be many positive thoughts and prayers coming your way! Thought I would fill everyone in on my situation. 1. Currently working day 4 with 0 smokes! 2. Having surgery tomorrow to repair my leg. They have to set the bone, repair the ligament and re-position the ankle. Simple huh? LOL!! At least I have 0 smokes working for me!
