Hey PB,
Congratulations on your FIVE year quit!  And you're right, ANY day without smoking is reason to celebrate!
I've never heard of a new hip as a reward, but it sounds like you're looking forward to it. That's a great CAN DO attitude!
Good luck with your surgery and physical therapy. If you can quit smoking, I'm sure it will be a breeze for you.

So I got 73,027 cigs not smoked, I've saved $21,900 smackeroo's, and I've gained 297 days. It's hard to believe I made it. I see people on here celebrating 37 days, 100 days, 30 days, and you know what, they deserve to celebrate because every day without that demon in your blood is a victory!! I am celebrating tomorrow by getting a new hip, yes, I need a hip, so I'm getting one. I've been living in pain for 4 years with this arthritis in my hips, injections every 90 days for the last 4 years in both hips...not fun. I can't wait!! I will be able to get out and walk again without pain, and do what ever I want, within reason of course. So celebrate friends, only a few here remember me, I only show up once a year to toot my horn and hopefully inspire one person to continue the fight. See ya all next year!! \m/ Rock on \m/ PB
