Hi RD Man! I've been lying low for a few days on a quiet part of the beach, just to prove to myself that I can live without the SSC for a few days. I've really missed reading all the posts and not posting myself, but with a holiday coming up I was worried that I might struggle without SSC support. However, no big cravings. I was going to stay away a bit longer, then I realised, 'Hey, my four month anniversary is today!' Any excuse for a party!!! Thank you for your post and hang in there RD - you owe it to yourself and deserve a successful quit. I'm off for a mad gallop down the beach - sorry about the flying sand folks!! Thanks all of you! I just needed some time out to check that I wasn't getting too reliant on the site and that I could cope for a few days. I missed you all, but I'm fine and glad to be back. I feel very flattered when people say that I'm an inspiration to them - sometimes I feel just like I've only started my quit. But to all you 'young ones', I am on the Beach and so happy that I have come this far. Oh and Rusty, thanks for the lyrics! Glad that you realise that I used to be a pop star.
