Hi, Today I am into day 3 of quitting and feeling OK. I am not craving that much except that I feel a little tired, dizzy and sleepy during lunch time. My heart also races a bit for a few minutes and then it calms down -- nothing serious. Heart poundings is the reason why I quit. It scares me to death and when nervous system kicks in, it just makes it worse. I really hope it only gets better over time. So far so good for me. I took everyone's advice and drink alot of water and juices. I eat quite a bit too. I am skinny so I dont mind to beef up a little :). I'll check in tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing fine. -TT

Hi TT Keep going I am on day 22(after 50 years smoking) and it DOES get better. When I first quit I spent hours a day worrying about not having my pet nicostick with me now I spend time encouraging people like yourself. If a wimp like me can do it anyone can!!! CONGRATS TT on your determination to stay quit. Thats how I am looking at it as well. I was a bit sleepy too on my 2nd day. It was like I'd had no sleep at all or something. I've been blessed not to have the headaches this go round. The first time I quit...I had several, but it's different strokes for different folks. :) You're on to a wonderful journey and I'm on it with ya. Let's do this together...see what's next in store for our new bodies!! :) Leolibra N.O.P.E. TT (Just like the Audi?) Way to go! Day three already you will be through the first week in no time. Find rewards that will fill the gaps and keep on celebrating and honouring yourself. The best way to keep quit is: Not One Puff Ever. Stay Strong and keep on letting us know how you are doing. Hi TT :) You are doing so good! Way2go! Just hang in there and take slow deep breaths to slow your heart rate. I once read that oranges can help curb craves so snack on some if you like them. Keep us updated on your progress. I'm just passing through but someone is always here. Stay strong!
