I'm feelin weird!!!

18 years ago 0 7 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I have been smoke free for 8 days. I am beginning to feel dizzy at times and my sinuses are acting up. I am also feeling a little nausious and just kinda weird. Is this normal? I spoke with a freind of mine that used to be a heavy smoker but quit many years ago and she said what I am experiencing is normal but I was hoping to get some more feedback on this. Can anyone relate? Welcome Moonchild! I too expierenced exactly what you are going through. I still go through "episodes" of this now. All of a sudden, I am completly spaced out, shakey, and dizzy. As far as my sinus problems, I haven't had them clear up yet, but I know they will. I think my allergies are not letting go. All will clear up. My body is getting used to all this oxygen! Let these side effects be a blessing -- it is your body healing. Keep strong! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 674 Amount Saved: $71.94 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 19 Mins: 24 Seconds: 57

Yep, I felt that way big time. I still get dizzy quite a bit. My sinuses where plugged up for at least 3-4 weeks. Hang in there, it does eventually go away.

moonchild I am still experiencing both sinus, and sometimes dizzy spells. Mostly the sinus problems. Hang in there, we smoked along time it takes ahile for our bodies to clear out all those toxins and to get use to us not putting in those poisons. Moon, Remember everyone's symptoms and quit are different and so will yours be :) If you experience symptoms longer than expected, than check with your doctor to rule out anything medical. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
