Remission?

MM,
I am speachless when I see your determination and courage and strength... I don't think your doctors know what kind of a fighter you are... Their predictions are just that - predictions. That does not make it a definite outcome. And the way it looks, you have the will and strength to fight this thing tooth and nail. You are a great inspiration to us, here at SSC. And I am sure that all the people that know you would say the same.
Stay well and stay strong. You are in my prayers.
Keep the quit
Cristina

Thanks everyone.  I am trying real hard to stay up-beat throughout all of this.  It has certainly altered my lifestyle, but there have been many good things that have come out of it.
I had chemo Tues-Thurs of this week and a shot on Fri.  Thursday I was still feelig sick even with the the other anti-nausea meds, so they gave me phenergan in my IV.  On the way home I started having horrible muscle spasms in my arms, legs and back.  Almost like seizures, but I was awake.  They gave me a bunch of benedryl and it finally went away about 10 pm.  That was pretty scary---but I wasn't sick to my stomach anymore!
Thanks for your reply, Deb.  I've been trying to read more about miracles where cancer is concerned and plan on defying the odds.  Just need a little kick in the pants when I get down and out!

Dear MM,

As a RN I have seen people defy the odds many, many times over the years. And always it's been those with a postive attitude that they CAN & will beat this. Keep on telling yourself you CAN & you will.

I can't imagine how much it sucks what your going through. You are in my thoughts & prayers.

With Love,
Deb
