Hi Karren,

Hope your enjoying your vacation! I have been to France also, but back then you could smoke inside public places. I don't remember seeing everyone smoke, but then again I was smoking to so why would I have paid any attention to it anyway. Anyway, hope you having fun!

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Hi all, managed to grab ten mins on my daughter's computer whilst we are with her in Strasbourg- hope everyone is OK- I will be back on line properly on Sunday or Monday.
Wow, France..... everyone or nearly everyone appears to smoke- its bizarre! Although the no smoking rule applies to public buildings, public transport etc, it seems that everyone in the street cafes and bars, and just generally walking along the roads is smoking. My daughter is teaching in a college for young people age 11-17 and at recess all the kids were out, you've guessed it some of them were smoking and the teachers were too! Its generally very acceptable here and not a bit anti social. Looks kind of odd to us as in England its very anti social these days.

Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,750
Amount Saved: $7,650.00
