I need to leave you with a little homework whilst I am away to keep your minds occupied. How many miles would the cigarettes cover that have not been smoked by all of us since this site started. A clue... I am on day 37 and have avoided 740 cigarettes Lets say 4 inches per cigarette? Total 2960 inches =246.66(recurring) feet Crikey!!! Makes you think! Phil, Using your maths I'm on 4,800 ft (approx 1,600 yards or metres). The virtual cigarette that I smoked over 30 years or so I calculated to be over 11 miles long :8o: Enjoy your holiday! Not a math head, but 17,988 cigarettes not smoked x 4 inches = 71,952 inches = 5,996 feet = more than a mile. I don't even want to know the length of the cigarettes I smoked in my whole life. Suffice to say, I'm not adding to THAT number anymore!
