Saving Money!

12 years ago 0 6252 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Over twenty years ago when I first got the signs of arthritis I realized if I wanted to stay in the country with out a second income I would have to start doing with out and building equity. It was good exposure, but still I was not prepared when I could no longer work to go from thirty thousand a year to eight. But every thing was paid for. Sub dividing the house off and selling the farm has allowed me to survive, because a single person can not live on a disability pension, no matter how much you like rice and potatoes.

No this really is not an odd subject for a panic site.

It's interesting you should talk about saving money within an anxiety forum but I think its very relevant since money can lead to stress and anxiety. I am 39 weeks pregnant and am now on maternity leave. My husband and I planned very well for this change in income and saved quite a bit of money so that we wouldn't be stressed out. Now when the baby comes we can relax and enjoy our new little one making this transition much more anxiety free.

Members,

Have you saved any money lately?
What are you doing with it?

A great way to validate your progress and treat yourself is by saving some extra money, pennies and change count!  Put it in a sealed jar, open up an account, contribute to a RRSP, or RESP.

Save it, spend it, or donate it!

What are you doing with your money saved?
