Myth or Fact?

After reading another fact that millions of Americans suffer with this, it obviously is an illness.   I've heard that disease can also be described as Dis-ease with something.  Anxiety really can make you uneasy.  So if it is understood as a illness or not, it is real for a lot of people.  I don't need it labeled to know that it is real for people.

Life doesn't end with the illness, just our stability for a bit.  But evolving to accept the new you helps.  Otherwise, remember how the dinosaurs went...learn to be flexible with yourself!

Myth: Anxiety disorders aren’t real illnesses.

Fact: Anxiety disorders are real and serious medical conditions, much like physical disorders such as diabetes or heart disease. They may develop from a complex set of biological or environmental risk factors, including genetics, brain chemistry, personality, and traumatic life events.
