Silly Research Finding? Maybe true - so test it yourself

Ha!  Great choices and fun way to test the research findings... there's gotta be something to it

Members, what would your 3 positives be?  What inspirational songs would you listen to?

I'd heard about a ratio of  3:1, when coping with negativity, from the research of John Gottman.  If someone, he found through research, had a negative thought, it would take 3 positives to counter it.  With teams, it's 5 to one.

Today it happened at the doctor's office, where I needed a new prescription for my worn orthotics.  The secretary was dismissive, not looking into my eyes, and just ignoring me.  Later, I felt awful.

So I played 3 inspirational songs: I'm a survivor(Destiny's Child); Fighter(Christina Aguilera) and What a Man(Salt n Pepa).

My postive day has resumed
