SundayIsTheDay

Hi Everyone :) I'm Selene, and my quit date is this Sunday. I've been cutting back considerably since January from a pack a day habit down to 4 a day for the last week, and Sunday is very much my day. I know I'll be on here quite a bit for quite some time as I've attempted to quit countless times since I picked up the very first one at 14 :gasp: I did quit for 4 years during and after my first pregnancy and 2 during and after th second. At 41, it's really time to stop it. My ten year old really put me in a good place tocompletely quit this time when a few days ago she asked I give her the present of quitting smoking for her 11th Birthday which is August 1st. I decided to step it up to this Sunday. And I really should know better since I'm in the fitness industry and incorporate health into every other area of my life, eating, activity, meditation. Smoking is a crutch and an awful one at that which has recently started to effect my heart. Hence a visit to the cardiologist next week.:( Time to stop, and I'm so grateful for a place like this, and the support.
